Had two situations yesterday. I renewed my driver license just before we closed the house and I didn't realize at the time that the State mails your new license instead of printing one while you wait. Just my luck, I did not received my new license before we changed mailing addresses. My temporary license was about to expire and I was not sure how to get a license without a residence. Ray and I went to DMV yesterday and explained the situation. I am now a Continuous Traveler. I provided evidence I paid state taxes last year and that qualified me for a license. Situation solved.
Next situation was missing keys. Ray lost his car keys. This caused a small panic as we searched the area hoping they would show up. Good news, I had my keys and best news, Ray found his in the truck between the seats. That place between the seats is similar to dryers and lost socks.
The good news is we have successfully found ways to work through the situations that arise from being continuous travelers.

ReplyDeleteJust wanted to remind you that you have a 4th of July sign up next Tuesday...oh wait....you don't have to be there now! Lucky guy! Guess I better show up 45 minutes earlier than I'm used to! Don't fret...we nominated Randy to take your place of thoroughly checking every possible concieveable work combination before choosing so the rest of us felt normal! Lol
